Belmar Seafood festival 2007 tips for having a great time

1. get there early parking is always an issue
2. the festival is in the North end of town 5 to 6th ave. along the Ocean front
3. Hours are from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM get there early as the police enforce the 7pm curfew but no one minds if you get there early, many years we are eating by 10am yummy
4. if you get there late park in Avon and walk over the bridge it might save you time
5. Sunday afternoon is the busiest time!
6. there are plenty of great food stands
7. there is no beer only New Jersey grown wines...in the wine tent
8. bands play all day near the lake and there are some arts and crafts
9. a few of the stand are just peole who work the carnival circuit support your local foodies and avoid the deep fried oreo cookie stand
10. have fun its a great day
11....there is not alot of shade so wear plenty of sun block
